Friends change

Deep inside, you want them back. You want them to be the friend you once knew. They are in there somewhere, the old friend you once had. You want them to be your close friend again because you miss them. You miss the amazing times you guys had and it’d make you so happy if you could create new memories with the same old friend you had many years ago. You know that’d never happen though. They are just a distant memory.

I find it really dumb when you go out to cruise with friends at night and people decide to go on their smart phones and check facebook or instagram instead of conversing. Isn’t the whole point of going out to socialize with people face to face and talk story? I mean, if you’re gonna go out and check it every so often then that’s fine but if you go out just to spend half or more of the time on your phone, just stay home. It won’t make any difference and it’ll save you time and gas. 

Ungrateful

I go on facebook and I see a girl who posts a status whining about how little she is getting from Federal Pell Grants this upcoming year compared to last year and then this other girl comments saying she only got $5500. ONLY $5500. Are you fucking kidding me? That pays for one whole semester and as for the girl who posted the status, smh. No matter how little or how big the amount of money it is that you receive, it’s still THAT much less you have to pay for the rest of the school fees. These girls honestly don’t know the value of money and should really appreciate what they are getting because I know quite a few people who aren’t getting any financial aid, but work their asses off to pay for school.
